Canada has been warned
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has sharply criticized Canada’s support for a new drone production partnership with Ukraine. Zakharova accuses Ottawa of abandoning its image as a peace-loving nation and becoming more deeply involved in the conflict by supporting the manufacturing of strike-reconnaissance UAVs intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
When Maria Zakharova is speaking, this is genuine Russian Foreign Policy, not some BS that you might hear from Washington or Ottawa. There will NOT be a “TACO” in a few days. You don’t mess with one of the world’s two superpowers (Russia or China). Russia searches out and records names and addresses of sites for possible military attack and lists them on the Foreign Ministry’s web site (www.mid.ru).
Below is a transcript of Mme. Zakharova’s address, you may follow along on Freelensia’s YouTube: Russia on Canada’s Drone Production Deal with Ukraine | RU-EN - Freelensia, June 15, 2026:
“And now about the sponsors of the Kiev regime.
As we all know, Canada positions itself, on the one hand, as a country of the highest degree – well, this is according to their statements – a “peace-loving” country, proud of its participation in peacekeeping operations.
It is concerned about the dangers posed by, for example, anti-personnel mines.
It calls for strict compliance with the UN Charter and international humanitarian law, including in Ukraine, and generally advocates in every way for universal prosperity, democracy, and, of course, peace throughout the world.
And now we learn that literally just the other day this allegedly “peace-loving” country became a participant in … what do you think?
Well, no, of course, not a humanitarian project to help the victims of the Kiev regime’s attack on the college in Starobelsk.
No, why would they?
Ottawa became a participant in agreements with Ukraine on the deployment of production of strike-reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles on its territory in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Apparently, those very aerial vehicles with which children, civilians, schools, hospitals, and maternity wards are destroyed, and with the use of which strikes are carried out against rescuers, firefighters, and medics trying to come to the aid of the wounded.
On May 25, with the support of the Department of National Defence of Canada, a joint venture was established between the private companies Sentinel from the Canadian province of Ontario and the Kiev-based Airlogix.
They signed an intellectual property and licensing agreement, including the exchange of experience and knowledge from the Canadians – “know-how” in the field of composite materials and manufacturing methods, from the Ukronazis – knowledge of real combat conditions.
They will be telling how they carry out terrorist attacks.
If there is one thing they have plenty of, it is this so-called “knowledge” on how to destroy the civilian population using UAVs and how to strike peaceful and civilian targets with drones.
It’s just that for some reason, in Ottawa, in this context, they do not remember the principles of international humanitarian law, to which the Canadians constantly refer.
As we can see, in the field of development and production of this relatively inexpensive, yet highly effective murder weapon of the 21st century, the state, which fears, in the words of its prime minister, “ending up on the menu”, clearly does not intend to lag behind.
As a result of the deal, the Canadians receive a lucrative military production on their territory, while the Kiev regime hides the strategic stock of military resources they need from Russian strikes on another continent in third countries – in this case, in Canada – which allegedly is not a party to the conflict.
Well, I want to say that we see everything, know everything, and are drawing the appropriate conclusions.
The plans for the new joint production include manufacturing several thousand drone units per year.
The Canadians plan to start the output of products – and these, I emphasize, are lethal multi-purpose, low-flying airplane-type drones with an operational range of up to 500 kilometers – before the end of the current year.
It’s, you know, such a New Year’s act of peace-loving.
The military department of Canada will buy the finished products from Sentinel and transfer them to the Armed Forces of Ukraine free of charge. A wonderful Canadian-style business.
All “products” will be supplied to Ukraine, officially – for use against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, but to put it in simple terms, for committing terrorist attacks and killing Russians.
Remember how George Bush said, direct quote, the task of the Kiev regime is to – in the words of George Bush – “kill as many Russians as possible”.
Thus, Canada, as we can see, has moved to a qualitatively new level of involvement in the Ukrainian crisis.
All masks have been dropped. The entire base nature of a state that is by no means peace-loving, but a warmonger striving by all means to further fuel this bloody conflict, has been revealed.
We reserve the right to an adequate response. We will take these new circumstances into account in our military-political planning.
And we will definitely publish the relevant addresses of all these production facilities on the territory of Canada. People must know.”
There you have it. And Russia has warned civilians that it is best that they stay away from sites on their targets list - don’t act surprised if something happens.
Thus, we see again, Canada taking a stand to defy a great power in this world. Would PM Carney dare advance military preparations toward USA? Will he ever do the “elbows up” thing of his election campaign instead of caving in to U.S. hegemony? Instead, Carney’s Canada insults Russia by pushing troop exercises right up against Russia’s borders in the Baltic States and sending frigates through the Taiwan Strait to insult China. Being a truly neutral nation is the best path to peace, not this arming-up against imaginary threats.
Andrew Coyne scored a goal in his column “Trump’s Iran deal is a national disgrace” in The Globe and Mail June 17, 2026, p. A12, where he said, re the war on Iran:
“Yet some folks who ought to have known better - including, it is excruciating to recall, the Prime Minister and the leader of the opposition - still signed onto the war at the start. Whether this was out of an understandable desire to be rid of the Iranian regime, or a less credible desire to get onside with Mr. Trump, it was the height of folly.”
Here you see an outline of the kakistocracy in this country as represented by the two conservative parties in Canada - the so-called “Liberals” and the opposition Conservatives, both cut from the same business class cloth.
It gets worse. At the G7 glad-handing meeting of the Business-Democracy “leaders” in Évian-les-Bains, France, PM Carney announced a fresh round of sanctions against Russia. This pip-squeak is doing what to whom? He’s a big shot now? BTW, unilateral sanctions are ILLEGAL according to UN rules unless they have Security Council approval. So much for “rules-based-order.”
Then he goes on to tell Mr. (not “President”) Zelenskyy that a victory in the four-year “conflict” is not in doubt. He said: “The tide is turning as expected in this war. Ukraine will win, it’s just a matter of time, it’s just a question of how much senseless slaughter Russia perpetrates.”
These statements were reported in the so-called “National Post,” in their add-in section in the Vancouver Sun, June 17th: “RUSSIA’S DEFEAT IS INEVITABLE, PM TELLS ZELENSKYY,” p. NP1 (Ottawa Citizen link). And this article of course repeats the NATO-propaganda that this is Russia’s full-scale and unprovoked war on Ukraine. As I’ve said before: “Most history lies unread, while the unread lie about history.” Russia could have made Ukraine look like Gaza long ago - this is a Special Military Operation, since Ukraine is their people and they have mercy upon them and share their heritage sites, at least the one’s the Ukrainian Banderites have not themselves taken down.
Well, such pathetic statements could be the result of this Prime Minister having no time to read up on what is going on in this world, politically or economically, since he spends so much time flying around glad-handing all these EU fools. Kakistocracy again.
As well, this article repeats the nonsense that Russia attacked the Dormition Cathedral in Kiev (of course they use the Ukrainian spelling). Russia DOES NOT attack civilian sites! The Ukrainians do that, then project their evils onto Russia. See their attack on the dormitory at Starobelsk, cited in Zakharova’s speech. This cathedral was hit by a Ukrainian-fired Patriot missile that was supposed to intercept some Russia incoming object, but missed and hit the cathedral. Those missiles are about US$4M each and MUST be fired by U.S. personnel and use U.S. satellite targeting data. Thus, NATO fights on in their dream of defeating Russia. And note that those overly-expensive and obsolete Patriots have zero effect on hypersonic missiles.
Perhaps Carney’s anti-Russia talk to Mr. Zelenskyy was simple Carney “talking to the room” like he did at the fat-cats conference at Davos, saying soothing things to their ears and harder talk at home. He could have come to the “people’s” conference at the St. Petersburg International Economic Conference (much bigger attendance than Davos), but obviously with his outright hate of Russia, our neighbour across the Arctic, he wouldn’t give that a thought. See my previous post, which has had remarkably few views, about how the U.S. has engineered WW-III to be fought on the soil of Europe, with doofus Canada falling straight into the trap: Machinations of Empire.

Canada is frozen in the limbo of a failing empire and will never have a greater opportunity to finally start standing for its own unique place in the world.
Both the Liberals and Conservatives are basically clones of their southern counterparts-- beyond progressive thinking or the balls and brains to undertake real change.
The USA is creating a very hard landing for themselves in their race to the bottom. If Canada doesn't want to end up there with them now is the time to move on and join the sane part of the world where peace and progress are possible.
As history has shown the after life of empires, for home countries and their colonies, can be bleak. Given what is happening in the West now it is going to be a boondock civilization for decades to come. Militarism and predatory corporate capitalism have been the death knell for some time and nobody is willing to face that reality--- and already running thirty years late
I'm quit happy Canada is not "messing" with Russia, but taking it's agression against Ukraine seriously enough to provide actual supplort.
